Preschool is Cool

This little guy is officially a preschooler. He is going to Loving Space School. It is a play-based preschool with Montesorri, Reggio Emilia, and Rudolph Steiner influences. It is an awesome school. They have multiple outdoor areas, a zip line, a "quiet" room (pretend play, reading nook, science/math area), a "loud" room (art/sensory area), a huge sandbox. Ollie is in heaven and I wish I could go to preschool with him.

The first day, Ollie was telling me, "Bye, Mom, bye," before he was even out of his carseat. This kid does not have separation anxiety issues. He does take a while to warm up to new people, especially when there are a lot of new people, but he seems to love school so far. The one thing he doesn't love, is eating lunch at school. This kid is one PICKY eater. He has refused to eat a single bite of lunch on both the days that he was there for lunch. It will be good for him in the long run, but in the short run, it is stressing me out. I guess I will just be bringing him snacks for our walk home from school.
