Pumpkin Hunting

Yesterday we went out to Stoney Ridge farm to pick out the perfect pumpkins for Halloween. Stoney Ridge has it all. A chaotic combination of all that is Fall - apples, cider and pumpkin donuts, farm animals, "hay" ride, pumpkin patch, and apple orchard.

We had intended to meet some friends at the farm, but our morning got a little crazy with running the Race for Education 5k that morning with the boys in the jogger. Ollie was just getting over a nasty cold, Mylo was just getting it, and Henry and I were (and are) trying to avoid getting it, so we were all feeling a little under the weather. We made the best of it anyway and had a good time as a family.

Ollie checking out all the sights.

The Pumpkin Patch - it took Ollie forever to pick one.

Our haul.

Taking a breather to eat his 25 cent apple.

Apple picking - fresh apples are so yummy.

"Hay" ride, completely hay-less, but complete with tractor.

The Hen and Mama
Ollie eating his Apple Cider Donut - pure deliciousness.
