Easter Fun

The Easter Bunny left Oliver a basket full of goodies - some books, a bouncy ball, bunny cup and a recycling truck. To my surprise, Ollie was so excited when he saw his basket sitting by the fireplace and quickly pounced on it.

Checking out the sparkly bouncy ball.

Ollie loves these books. He loves to point out all the pictures and either tell us what it is or have us tell him. They are great.

The Easter basket was fun, but Easter Egg hunt was hilarious. Ollie really got into it. We just hid empty plastic eggs inside because the weather was kind of icky in the morning. Oliver did such a good job hunting down all the eggs and putting them in his basket. Maybe we will venture out to a public egg hunt next year.

Whoa!

So proud of himself for finding the egg on the windowsill.

A sneaky egg by the oven.

Putting the eggs in his bucket.

Dumping out all the eggs.

We enjoyed a yummy salmon and ham lunch with the Holland/Vaughn clan {Mylo's mom's side of the family} and then went out to the Thalofer's house {Mylo's Aunt Terry and Uncle Kerry} for the annual Allen Easter potluck {Mylo's dad's side of the family}. Both gatherings were pretty laid back and it was nice to see everyone and eat yummy food - although we missed Berta and Craig, who couldn't be at the Holland/Vaughn gathering.
