We took advantage of a Mylo's last day off of work this week to go down to the annual Tulip Festival in Mt. Vernon for our first official family outing. It also happened to be a fairly nice day, which was a bonus. The tulips were in full bloom and were gorgeous. Oliver loved stomping in all the puddles and almost went down a few times when his rain boots got stuck in the mud. It just happened to be free tractor trolley day, so Oliver lucked out and was able to ride in the trailer towed by the tractor. He was in hog heaven. Henry pretty much slept through the whole thing - including the drive down there and back home. All in all, it was a successful outing, with the only major hiccup being Oliver's insistence to kick the back of my seat when we were in the car - fun times.

Checking out all the colors.

Stomping in the puddles.

Oliver refusing to turn around to take a nice photo.
