Hoofing It

Last week was Mylo's spring break. Although we did tidy up the yard and manage to clean out and organize the disgusting garage (a three car garage sounds like a good idea until you realize it is just another excuse to acquire a bunch of junk), our infamous to do list remained wholly unscathed. I had grand hopes for Spring Break. I mean with two of us home at the same time for an entire week, you would think that we could accomplish one silly little to do list. But alas, the little minion was again successful in distracting us from getting anything substantial done. He's good like that.

We did squeeze in a little hike up to Fragrance Lake while the weather was still teasing us into thinking Spring had arrived with sunny skies and balmy 60 degree temperatures. It was the maiden voyage for Oliver in his new backpack, courtesy of Papa Joe. He loved it. He was all smiles, sitting up high like the King of Mountain with a birds-eye view. He thought it was especially hilarious to grab daddy's hair with his sticky fingered kung-fu grip. I can't really blame him, it was pretty hilarious. I think he may have inherited my twisted sense of humor. Poor Mylo.
