While my mom and brother, Danny were in town, we headed up to Vancouver to go to the aquarium and play around in Stanley Park. It was a gorgeous day, which have been few and far between lately, so we got lucky there. The aquarium, although kind of small (and expensive for adults), was pretty neat. Oliver loved checking out all the animals and fish. He especially loved the beluga whales, dolphins, and sharks.

In the gift shop, Oliver insisted on getting a plastic shark and frog, which have been his two constant companions since then.

In Stanley Park, which huge, we played at the playground and Grandma took Ollie on a mini train ride, which he absolutely loved.

It was a fun adventure, even if the wait at the border was over an hour - Grandma and Danny just played with Ollie at the Peace Arch while I idled along in the car.

Baker has that same shark! It's his constant companion in the bathtub :) I love Stanley Park - it is so amazing! Glad you were able to enjoy it on a nice day.
That's cute that in every picture he's got his two little aquarium buddies right by his side.
Oh, that damn border crossing! The Aquarium is pretty fun though, I agree - hopefully worth the wait.
